The Weekly News, T shirt for Men
$55.00
Description
I have created this artwork by referring to an original copy of The Weekly News from 1946 published just after the end of the 2nd World war. I love the sense of history I feel from the styles of type face and their layout. Todays fashions in typography are so different and so are our lifestyles and expectations . I have made changes to the text as I wanted the T shirts to relate to Nelson where I live. The image could represent anywhere on the west coast of NZ. My first car was a Morris Minor and it took me many many miles as I travelled England experiencing flat tyres and breakdowns as part of the experience.
Colours available are Sage Green, Red and Grey Marl.
Fabric – Heavy weight 200 gm knitted cotton.
Available in standard mens’ sizes – Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL,
T Shirt Care Instructions – These T shirts are hard wearing and can go into a general wash. All coloured garments should be hung on the line to dry inside out. The strong NZ sunlight bleaches colour from cotton garments.
(I have bought in the T shirts ready made from a supplier in Auckland. Unfortunately they are not made in NZ, but they are made from a good quality heavy weight knitted cotton fabric that wears well and does not shrink.)
Read my returns policy to put your mind at ease.
