Rocks Road, Nelson, N.Z. Classic cotton T shirt

Description

If you have ever wanted to sail into Nelson, through The Cut,  this is just a section of the amazing view you will see of the hill side. From the waters edge and Rocks Road  to the trees on the skyline. There are  masses of houses,  all sizes  and architectural styles with windows  looking out to sea. I used a section from one of my many photographs that I have taken over the years as we finish racing on Wednesday nights in summer. I chose this section of hill side with the two pine trees at the top and the Boat House Cafe on the waters edge. The area of partially drawn trees gives the work some negative space as you can have just too many buildings. The art work was a daunting task to begin with and I had a few false starts and discarded drawings but I persevered and now happy with the result. I will be using this image on Tea towels and as a limited edition  prints on to beautiful paper to be sold with or without a frame.

T shirt colours available are  Grey Marl, Sage Green, Sea Blue and White.

Fabric – Heavy weight 200 gm knitted cotton.

Available in standard mens’ sizes – Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL.  If you are buying for a woman as a casual loose fitting top, I recommend size Medium T shirt will fit a size 12/14,

T Shirt Care Instructions – These T shirts are hard wearing and do not shrink. I have used a water based textile ink that soaks into the cotton fibres and have  been heat set to  150 degrees centigrade. They  can go into a general wash and be ironed over the print.  All  coloured garments should be hung on the line to dry inside out. The strong NZ sunlight bleaches colour from cotton garments.
